Living Ponds was established by Geoff in February 2012.

They are situated in Welshpool at 4 / 404 Orrong Road, with ample free parking (80 bays).

Geoff has worked in the pond and water feature industry for over 35 years with 12 years of this in the uk running his own water garden centre in the south west of England (Devon). Since arriving in Australia he has worked very hard at improving the industry and has succeeded to obtain only the very best ranges and most reliable products available for his customers.

Geoff has worked closely with all sectors of the industry here in perth and in doing so: Living Ponds can offer Expert advise , great pricing, quality products and a huge range in store. In 2012 Geoff formed a business partnership with Darian soon after who had a different range of expertise to bring to Living Ponds. Darian has brought to the business his knowledge of fish handling, his ability to diagnose and treat fish problems, knowledge of water chemistry and all aspects of fish pond and filtration construction along with maintenance.

Darian joined the WA koi society as a teenager about 18 years ago and has a good knowledge of quality koi: he is a hobbyist himself with two koi ponds, a 15,000 litre Greek style and 30,000 litre Japanese style. Also he has kept tank busters in a 3 meter tank and a full range of tropical and goldfish. Generally he has built his own experience but has also had the advantage of learning from others.

One thing that excites Darian is to see a high quality koi and goldfish: he brings this excitment with him and has started to build one of the largest stocks of the best quality koi and goldfish in WA. He has been hand picking them from his many suppy contacts.
